Production Manager
Job summary
The Production Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of all printing operations. You will ensure that all presses run efficiently, production targets are met, waste is minimized, and quality standards are maintained. You will lead, supervise, and motivate the production team to achieve company KPIs.

Responsibilities:
- Production Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee all printing activities, including DTF, large format, UV, and finishing processes to meet deadlines
- Efficiency & Cost Control: Monitor material yield per roll/sheet.
Set and enforce benchmarks. - Waste Reduction: Implement processes to reduce material wastage, downtime, and reprints.

Team Leadership: Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate production staff and shift supervisors. Ensure discipline and high performance.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all jobs meet client specifications and company quality standards before dispatch.
- Machine & Maintenance: Ensure preventive maintenance of all presses and equipment. Liaise with technicians for repairs.
- Inventory & Procurement: Monitor stock levels of consumables - DTF film, ink, flex, etc.
Work with procurement to avoid stockouts. - Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production output, waste, downtime, and targets for Management.
- SOPs & Safety: Develop and enforce SOPs and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.
Requirements:
- HND in Engineering, Production, Graphic Arts, or related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a similar role in a printing, packaging, or manufacturing company.
- Proven hands-on experience with DTF machines, large-format printers, and finishing equipment( Though not compulsory). Must understand gang-up, RIP software, and job costing.
- Proven track record managing a production team of 10+ people.
- Strong with numbers, KPIs, and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Must be firm, fair, and able to work under pressure.
- Must reside in Lagos and be willing to work Monday - Saturday.
