  • Break down requirements into actionable tasks; prioritize and assign work to cross-functional teams.

Delivery & SDLC Management:

  • Manage software development lifecycle using Agile (Scrum/Kanban) or hybrid approaches appropriate to the project.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and release planning; remove blockers for teams.
  • Coordinate deployments with DevOps/DevSecOps and ensure alignment with CI/CD pipelines and release windows.

Quality & Acceptance

  • Ensure functional testing, UAT, and acceptance criteria are planned, executed, and signed off with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with QA/QA Manager to achieve the required test coverage and track defect resolution.
  • Validate deliverables against acceptance criteria and manage sign-off processes.

Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Serve as the primary project point of contact for internal stakeholders and clients; maintain a professional client-facing presence.

  • Manage scope changes, client expectations, and negotiate trade-offs between time, scope, and resources.

Risk, Issue & Change Management

  • Identify, log, and proactively mitigate project risks and issues; maintain risk register and contingency plans.
  • Apply formal change control where required and communicate impacts to timeline, budget, and scope.

Reporting & Metrics

  • Produce weekly and monthly project reports: progress, burn-down, risks, financials, and KPIs.
  • Use data to drive decisions and continuous improvement (on-time delivery, velocity, defect rates).

People & Process

  • Mentor junior project staff and contribute to the delivery of best practices and templates for the PMO.
  • Support onboarding, knowledge transfer, and post-implementation reviews.

Requirements:

  • 1-6 years of experience, depending on the level of experience managing software development projects or technology delivery engagements.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum ceremonies and practical understanding of SDLC.
  • Comfortable working with technical teams and a good grasp of modern technology concepts (APIs, microservices, cloud, CI/CD).
  • Experience coordinating UAT, acceptance testing, and stakeholder sign-offs.
  • Strong organizational skills: planning, prioritization, and time management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; confident in client-facing engagements and presentations.
  • Proficiency with project tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, Trello), reporting tools, and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage scope, schedule, and basic project finances.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in project management (e.g., Scrum Master, PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM).
  • Prior experience working on identity, biometrics, government, or large enterprise projects.
  • Familiarity with product management concepts and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Some exposure to DevOps practices, monitoring, and basic scripting is a plus.

Personal Traits:

  • Pragmatic, solutions-oriented, and calm under pressure.
  • Detail-focused but able to maintain a strategic view.
  • Collaborative, diplomatic, and decisive with strong stakeholder empathy.
