Responsibilities:
- The Volunteer Procurement Officer supports the efficient and transparent acquisition of goods and services needed for a nonprofit organization focused on children’s mental health and education.
- This role involves sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring all purchases comply with the organization’s financial and ethical policies. The officer works closely with program and finance teams to forecast needs, plan budgets, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services for child-centered projects and activities.
- The ideal candidate is organized, ethical, and detail-oriented, with basic knowledge of procurement processes and a passion for helping children access quality mental health and educational support.
- This is a volunteer position requiring approximately 8–10 hours per week, offering valuable experience in nonprofit procurement and a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the organization’s mission of improving the well-being and education of children.
