Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and supply of materials, equipment, and services. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective purchasing, maintain strong vendor relationships, and support smooth operational workflows across the organization.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms to ensure cost savings.
- Process purchase orders, follow up on deliveries, and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Monitor stock levels and work with store/warehouse teams to maintain adequate inventory.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry standards.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and pricing trends.
- Prepare procurement reports and track spending against budget.
- Resolve issues related to deliveries, quality, or supplier performance.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with vendors and internal departments.
Requirements:
- Degree/HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Excellent analytical and cost-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software/systems.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
