Assistant Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Support the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing and engaging early-years learning environment.
• Assist with classroom routines, learning activities and age-appropriate experiences for the assigned preschool groups.
• Support children's participation, communication, early literacy and development through suitable classroom activities.
• Observe and support individual children's needs and communicate relevant observations to the lead teacher.
• Apply knowledge of the EYFS framework in daily classroom practice.
• Support an organized classroom environment and positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an NCE in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Minimum of 1 year. Special Skills / Training: EYFS framework knowledge; Montessori training an advantage
