Life Sciences Research Expert

Responsibilities:

• Create and solve challenging scientific problems within your area of expertise.
• Develop reproducible Python-based analyses, models, simulations, and data-processing workflows.
• Analyze scientific datasets and validate computational findings.
• Review scientific solutions and code for accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
• Identify errors in scientific reasoning, calculations, and computational implementations.
• Provide technical feedback to improve AI-generated scientific responses.
• Document research methods, analytical approaches, and solutions clearly.
• Complete assigned tasks according to project specifications and quality standards.

Required Skills:

• PhD, MD, or master's degree with substantial research experience in a relevant life sciences discipline.
• Demonstrated research experience through publications, thesis work, computational projects, industry research, or equivalent achievements.
• Practical Python experience in scientific computing, data analysis, modeling, or simulation.
• Familiarity with scientific Python tools such as NumPy, pandas, SciPy, Matplotlib, scikit-learn, and Jupyter Notebook.
• Experience with domain-specific scientific libraries or computational research workflows.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Expertise in at least one relevant life sciences discipline.
• Scientific data analysis and interpretation.
• Research problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Computational modeling, simulation, or statistical analysis.
• Ability to evaluate technical solutions and scientific reasoning.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.

Compensation and Work Arrangement:

• Remuneration: NGN 500,000 monthly
  
• Work commitment: Approximately 15 hours per week
  
• Location: Global and fully remote
  
• Engagement: Independent contractor
