Job Summary

An NYSC associate must conduct legal studies, in-depth research into specific topics, and edit or produce learned articles, papers, and materials for the firm's publication presentation and circulation. They must also ensure that client's needs are met, interact effectively with clients and team members, and be able to negotiate contracts.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Writing, reviewing, and editing minutes of meetings.
  • Drafting of corporate proceedings and opinions. 
  • Accept and discharge tasks, assignments, or secondment to any special projects or entity. 
  • Prepare agreements and negotiate contracts. 
  • Handle all administrative responsibilities as assigned. 
  • Obtain accurate information and instructions from clients, analyze the legal and practical aspects of their cases, and obtain the necessary documents to provide preliminary advice.
  • Represent clients in court.
