Job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking NYSC member with a legal background to join our law firm as a Litigation Lawyer. The ideal candidate will assist in court proceedings, legal research, drafting of legal documents, and general litigation support under senior counsel supervision.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in handling litigation matters and court appearances
- Draft legal documents, including motions, affidavits, pleadings, and written addresses
- Conduct legal research and case law analysis
- Attend court sessions and assist senior lawyers during hearings
- Prepare case files and maintain proper documentation
- Liaise with court registries and relevant legal institutions
- Support client interviews and case strategy discussions
- Perform other legal duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be a serving NYSC member posted or seeking redeployment
- Must have LL.B and B.L qualification
- Strong interest in litigation practice
- Good knowledge of Nigerian legal procedures
- Excellent research and drafting skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Professional appearance and strong work ethics
Added Advantage:
- Prior litigation or court experience
- Knowledge of court filing processes
- Strong organisational skills
