Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing loan recovery activities.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Providing legal guidance on business transactions.
- Ensuring that the organization's interests are adequately protected in its operations and dealings with third parties.
- Manage delinquent accounts, negotiate settlements, draft and review legally sound documents.
- Identify contractual and operational risks.
- Ensure that the organization's policies, agreements, and business practices comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- A professional with a strong background in legal practice, contract management, debt recovery, negotiation, and regulatory compliance, preferably within the microfinance or broader financial services sector.
- The candidate must demonstrate the ability to develop effective recovery strategies.
- Minimum qualification of BSc.
- 3 years of previous experience in a similar role.
