Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across target markets, including packaging companies, FMCG brands, printers, and corporate organizations.
- Actively prospect and generate leads through field visits, referrals, networking, and digital channels to expand the customer base.
- Promote and sell the company’s range of products (rigid boxes, paper, and grey board), clearly communicating product features, specifications, and value.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Manage the full customer lifecycle, including inquiries, order follow-ups, after-sales support, and feedback collection.
- Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer preferences to inform strategy.
- Drive brand visibility through marketing initiatives, participation in trade activities, and presence in key market clusters.
- Collaborate with production, design, and operations teams to ensure accurate job specifications, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Track sales performance, maintain accurate records, and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales and marketing, preferably in paper, packaging, printing, or manufacturing industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Experience in B2B sales and client relationship management is an advantage.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Customer-focused with strong relationship management skills.
- Good market awareness and strategic thinking
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and target-oriented
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Understanding of paper products, rigid boxes, and greyboard applications.
- Knowledge of sales processes, marketing strategies, and customer acquisition techniques.
- Familiarity with market research, competitor analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
- Understanding of the local market landscape and key commercial/industrial hubs.
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools and sales reporting systems is an advantage
- Basic proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel for reporting
Remuneration: NGN 250,000- 300,000
