Low Bed Driver

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate low-bed trucks to transport heavy machinery and equipment to and from project sites.
• Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo in compliance with safety standards.
• Perform routine inspections of the vehicle and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery documentation, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Comply with all traffic laws, company transport policies, and road safety regulations.
• Work closely with logistics coordinators and site personnel to plan and execute deliveries efficiently.
• Adhere to timelines and delivery schedules, minimizing downtime and delays.
• Inspect cargo before departure and after delivery to ensure no damage has occurred during transit.

Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE/OND or its equivalent.
• A valid and up-to-date driver’s license (Class G or equivalent for heavy-duty vehicles).
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience driving low-bed trucks or other heavy-duty vehicles.
• Sound knowledge of traffic rules, road signs, and driving regulations within and outside the city.
• Proven ability to safely load, transport, and unload heavy machinery and equipment.
• Strong understanding of low-bed vehicle operations, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to work long hours and in varying road conditions.
• A high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and commitment to safety protocols.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Experience working in a construction or logistics environment is an added advantage.
