Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Legal Advisory: Offer legal advice on various aspects of the business.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant gaming laws and regulations.
- Regulatory Affairs: Communicate with relevant regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
- Company Secretarial: Handle secretarial duties like preparing annual returns and maintaining the company's register.
- Contract Review: Draft and review contracts and agreements to protect company interests.
- Research and Development: Keep updated on legal changes impacting the business.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B), BL.
- Minimum 4 years post-call experience as a Legal Officer, preferably in the betting and gaming industry.
- Knowledge of the betting and gaming industry, including market trends, regulations, and competitor activity.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian laws, betting and gaming laws.
- Proficient in compliance, drafting and reviewing legal documents.
