Responsibilities:
- Review contracts, legal documents, and internal policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide legal analysis and advisory support on operational matters.
- Monitor and interpret new laws, regulations, and CBN policies affecting the organization.
- Support debt recovery and management of non-performing loans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements (CBN, NDIC, EFCC, Credit Bureaus).
- Assist in developing compliance awareness and staff training programs.
- Prepare compliance reports for management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB); professional certification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 4 years post-call legal experience, including at least 1 year in a financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
