Junior Architect

Responsibilities:

• Performs original design work utilizing specifications, sketches, and ideas for developing designs.
• Assists in compiling data for architectural plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, etc.
• Assists in the preparation of plans for existing buildings where plans are not available.
• Assists in the preparation of scale drawing of details required for contract drawing.
• Assists in the preparation of design development drawings.
• Assists in the preparation of “record” drawings on completion of construction.
• Assists in the preparation of layout and drawing preliminary sketch of the project to present to clients.
• Assists in developing and/or coordinating the development of detailed working drawings and specifications after approval for the project has been obtained.
• Assists with coordinating the bid process.
• Reviews shop drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and construction material recommendations submitted by outside architects and contractors to ensure adherence to contract and notifies the Architect of discrepancies.
• Provides support to Architects and management staff.
• Analyze briefs and go for site recce and measurements
• Prepare interior design layouts
• Design and render interior spaces.

Requirements:

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field
• 1 - 3 of architectural experience including the use of CAD technology or Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education
• Knowledge of architecture and architectural principles and techniques.
• Knowledge of types of building materials and construction methods.
• Practical knowledge of Architectural design methods/techniques using CAD
• Skill in drafting architectural plans.
• Ability to handle beginner excel
• Ability to recreate 2d drawings and 3d drawings
• Must be good with Revit Architecture and Autocad.
• Must be good with lumion Architecture or any equivalent render engine.
• Must be good with Microsoft Office.

Remuneration: NGN 130,000 - 150,000
