Fire Fighting Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the installation of fire fighting systems such as sprinkler systems, fire hose reels, fire extinguishers, hydrants, and fire pumps.
• Ensure that all fire protection systems are installed in compliance with approved drawings, local codes, and safety standards.
• Assign tasks and oversee the work of technicians and installers on-site.
• Conduct inspections and functionality tests of fire fighting systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation or maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure proper handling and use of fire fighting equipment and materials.
• Maintain daily work logs and submit progress reports.
• Collaborate with project and safety teams to ensure timely and safe project delivery.

Requirements:

• Minimum of OND, Trade Test, or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of proven experience supervising fire fighting system installations.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety systems, standards, and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret fire protection system drawings.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Must be based in Lagos or willing to work in Lagos.
