The role oversees solar engineers, ensures quality installations, and delivers reliable, properly designed solar. Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead and approve all solar system designs, load calculations, and energy audits.
- Set, document, and enforce technical and installation standards.
- Ensure customers receive properly sized and optimised solar solutions.
- Supervise and support solar engineers and installers (remotely and on-site).
- Personally handle or escalate complex troubleshooting involving inverters, batteries, and PV systems.
- Oversee installations to ensure compliance with designs, safety rules, and best practices.
- Collaborate with sales/operations teams to support quotations and technical proposals.
- Review and prepare technical documentation, quotations, and reports
- Maintain accurate records of site inspections, audits, and system performance.
Requirements:
- Degree or certification in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in solar installation, system design, and troubleshooting
- Strong hands-on experience with inverters, lithium batteries, and PV systems
- Proven ability to conduct energy audits and system sizing
- Experience managing or leading technical teams
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience working with multiple solar brands is an added advantage
