The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations, support staff, and provide technology solutions that enhance efficiency and business continuity within a marine and offshore services environment.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain company IT systems, hardware, and software
- Provide technical support to staff (desktops, laptops, printers, network devices, and mobile systems)
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and networking equipment
- Manage company internet connectivity, email systems, and data storage
- Ensure data security, backups, and basic cybersecurity measures
- Maintain and update company website, internal systems, and digital tools where required
- Troubleshoot system faults and provide timely resolutions
- Keep IT inventory, licenses, and documentation up to date
- Support digital reporting, communication tools, and operational software
- Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers when necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an IT Officer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
- Experience with Microsoft Office, email servers, and basic server administration
- Understanding of data security and backup systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues efficiently
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Added Advantage:
- Experience working in a marine, offshore, oil & gas, or industrial environment
- Knowledge of cloud services, CCTV systems, or ERP software SAP
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco)
Location: Lagos
Remuneration: NGN 500,000 - 750,000
