Job summary
We are looking to hire an ELV / Smart Building Technologist to join our technical team. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining smart building and ELV systems across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. The successful candidate will work on-site, handle real projects, and be part of a team delivering clean, reliable, and well-finished installations.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address systems, and networking
- Carry out smart home and building automation installations (lighting, smart switches, curtains, sensors, etc.)
- Install and terminate structured cabling (CAT6, fiber where required) and manage racks neatly
- Configure and test devices to ensure proper functionality before system handover
- Read drawings and site plans and follow project instructions accurately
- Troubleshoot faults and resolve issues during and after installation
- Work closely with engineers and other technicians on-site
- Maintain organized tools, materials, and work areas on project sites
- Support system handover and provide basic client guidance when required
Requirements:
- HND, BA/BSc or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronics, ICT, or a related field
- Experience: 2 - 5 years
- Practical experience with ELV or smart building systems
- Basic understanding of networking, IP devices, and power systems
- Ability to use basic installation tools and testing equipment
- Willingness to learn and grow in smart automation and ELV technologies
- Ability to work on-site and meet project deadlines
- Good attitude, honesty, and teamwork
- Prior experience in hotels or large residential projects is an added advantage
