We are looking to hire a competent Solar & Inverter Technician /Project Supervisor to join our team
Job descriptions & requirements
- Installation and commissioning of inverters and solar solutions
- Ensure proper troubleshooting and re-installation of Inverters and UPS at various sites
- Attend to clients and create designs as required by clients
- Ensure Quality products and accessories are used for projects
- Ensure safety at sites for the team and workshops in the office
- Generate a professional safety report and recommendations for every client
- Good communication between the engineering team and other departments
- Support in the preparation, evaluation, interpretation, and product design and detailed specifications of electrical systems.
- Use engineering principles and techniques to execute projects
- Inspect and control the contract drawing for the accuracy of dimensions and details.
- Provide Preventive/comprehensive Maintenance for clients
- Carry out a site audit and design before installation
- Basic monitoring and supervision of the ongoing project, Installation of Inverters and UPS, industrial AVR, solar power, etc., at various clients' sites
- Manage the existing clients and develop new business support
- Carry out a routine check on the client's machine as requested
- Take full responsibility for dealing with the relevant customer complaints, queries, and requests for information
- Prompt response to RFQs and presentations
- Must approach all matters with a non-biased and professional manner.
- Facilitate business growth by working together with clients as well asbusiness partners
- Carry out relevant research as required and requested by the management
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly statistical reports as appropriate
- Overseeing Technical Operations and building strong customer relationships
- Maximizing the company's operating performance
- Involved with the planning, direction, and coordination activities of companies.
- Devises strategies and policies designed to ensure the organization meets its goals.
- Attend meetings and be involved in contract negotiation
- Take corrective action to solve organizational technical problems
- Provide input to the relevant government agency/commission
- HND/BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in solar PV, inverter, UPS installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Proven experience supervising projects and technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of system design, troubleshooting, and safety standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and prepare basic reports.
- Relevant certifications are an added advantage.
