Field Marketing Officer
Job summary
The Field Marketing Officer will be responsible for actively promoting Nightowl Woodworks’ services by visiting construction sites, engaging contractors, builders, architects, and project managers & generating new business opportunities. This role is highly field-oriented and requires strong communication, persuasion & relationship-building skills.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Visit construction sites, real estate developments, and renovation projects to identify potential clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, site engineers, architects, and developers.
- Promote Nightowl Woodworks services (kitchen cabinets, doors, frames, closets, custom furniture, etc.).
- Present product samples, catalogs, and company offerings professionally.
- Generate and follow up on leads to convert them into sales.
- Provide regular feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Maintain a database of prospects and clients.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth project execution after client acquisition.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales and lead generation targets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Business, or related field is an advantage).
- Proven experience in marketing, sales, or field operations (preferably in construction, furniture, or interior works)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Confident, proactive, and self-motivated personality.
- Ability to work independently and in outdoor environments.
- Good knowledge of Abuja and the surrounding areas.
- Basic understanding of furniture, woodworking, or construction processes is a plus.
- The candidate must be willing to spend most of the time in the field.
- Professional appearance and good conduct are essential.
- Experience in the furniture or construction industry will be highly preferred.
- The candidate must own a means of transport, as the role requires frequent visits to the site within Abuja.
- This position is subject to a 1-month probation period, during which performance will be evaluated for suitability and fit.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Number of site visits per week.
- Leads generated.
- Conversion rate (leads to clients).
- Revenue contribution.
- Client retention/repeat business.
