Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the company’s physical premises, including office spaces, buildings, and grounds.
- Coordinate and supervise routine and preventive maintenance schedules for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other building systems.
- Manage a team of maintenance staff, janitors, and security personnel, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify repair needs, safety hazards, or inefficiencies and initiate corrective action.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, fire codes, and environmental standards.
- Oversee facility upgrades, renovations, and new installations in coordination with contractors and vendors.
- Manage facility budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effective facility operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, permits, vendor contracts, and incident reports.
- Ensure adequate supply of tools, equipment, and materials required for facility upkeep.
- Serve as the primary point of contact during emergencies and coordinate appropriate responses.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in facility operations, building maintenance, or related roles.
- Knowledge of building systems (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, etc.) and relevant regulations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage contractors, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects.
- Proficiency in maintenance management systems and basic office software.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external service providers.
