Facility Manager

Responsibilities:

• Supervision all operations in the estate
• Water treatment plant (timely maintenance of all water pipe network, prompt address of water leakage, supervising water unit staff)
  
• Electrical installations (basic understanding of the electrical installations in the estate, strategic planning for replacement, maintenance, and repairs, supervise staff competence and diligence, third party liaison to improve electricity supply to the estate, efficient monitoring and replacement of generators)
  
• Environment (maintain a beautiful landscape with lush greenery, pest free and conducive for residents and visitors, efficient clearing of undeveloped areas in the estate)
  
• Waste management (supervising contractors to give value to the estate efficiently)
  
• Security (secure the estate from external, and internal threats and attacks, establishing contact with management teams of the security company for efficient liaison)
  
• New property development (ensure all property development on the estate follow approved building plans, ensure waste generated by property development is completely evacuated from the estate)
  
• Personnel (effectively supervise associates by developing job descriptions and KPIs, designing appraisal template, and implementing it for staff motivation, promotion, and training).

Requirements:

• At least 15 years of cognate experience and a relevant university degree in any discipline.
• General managerial competence and skill sets.
• Basic accounting with budgeting and financial planning.
• Excellent people management skills.
• Operational hands-on knowledge of community facility-based water, power, waste, security, and liaison operations.
