Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, artisans, and laborers on-site.
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings to guide construction teams.
- Ensure proper material usage, minimize waste, and manage inventory on-site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any construction-related challenges.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Communicate progress updates to the senior architect and project manager.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure construction stays within budget.
- Assist in resolving technical and structural issues during construction.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building construction, finishing, or site supervision.
- Strong understanding of building materials, construction techniques, and interior finishing standards.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, MEP, and structural drawings.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of project scheduling tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Relevant certifications or a degree in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, or Architecture is an advantage.
- Experience with high-end interior finishing and joinery works.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients.
