Estate Surveyor and Valuer

Responsibilities:

• Conduct property valuations for sales, leases, mortgages, insurance, and investment purposes.
• Oversee the management, acquisition, and disposal of real estate assets.
• Prepare valuation reports, feasibility studies, and market research for clients.
• Manage lease agreements, rent collection, rent reviews, and tenant negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with Lagos State property laws, land use regulations, and professional standards.
• Advise clients on real estate investment opportunities, asset optimization, and risk assessments.
• Supervise and mentor junior surveyors, trainees, and support staff.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with government agencies (e.g., LASRERA, Ministry of Lands), legal teams, and property developers.
• Represent the company in negotiations, client meetings, and real estate forums.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Estate Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in estate surveying, property valuation, and real estate management.
• Membership with NIESV (Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers) and registration with ESVARBON (Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria) is required.
• Strong knowledge of real estate laws, valuation methodologies, and Lagos property market trends.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in real estate management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong network and experience working with government agencies, financial institutions, and corporate clients.
