Job Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing engineering projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role requires coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects(Dock/Port/Maritime) according to plan, and is strictly offsite.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timing.(Dock/Port/Maritime)
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to ensure all project requirements and objectives are met.(Dock/Port/Maritime)
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.(Dock/Port/Maritime)
  • Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.(Dock/Port/Maritime)
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.(Dock/Port/Maritime)
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations for future project improvements.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.(Dock/Port/Maritime)
  • Proven experience in project management within an engineering environment.(Dock/Port/Maritime)
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • Candidates with experience in state and federal departments are preferred.
  • Candidates with connections and channels to obtain relevant information will be given priority
  • Those who hold a COREN Certificate or have the equivalent level/overseas study experience in the UK or the US are preferred.
  • Experience in marine engineering is a plus.
