Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled, following design plans and layouts
- Cut, shape, and lay tiles using appropriate tools and techniques
- Apply adhesives, grout, and sealants to ensure strong and lasting finishes
- Repair and replace damaged or broken tiles as needed
- Ensure surfaces are properly prepared before tiling (cleaning, leveling, smoothing)
- Create decorative patterns and designs when required
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition
- Follow safety guidelines and comply with construction standards
- Collaborate with other construction workers and supervisors to meet project deadlines
- Provide input on material requirements and assist in inventory management
- Deliver high-quality workmanship that enhances the overall aesthetics of the project
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tiler or in a similar role
- Knowledge of tile types, adhesives, and grouting and finishing methods
- Ability to read and interpret design plans and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cutting
- Physical stamina and ability to work in demanding environments
- Good communication and teamwork skills
