Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials and techniques
- Weld and fabricate metal components using MIG, TIG, arc, or gas welding methods
- Inspect and test welded surfaces to ensure strength and quality
- Repair and maintain metal structures, machinery, and equipment
- Operate cutting, grinding, and finishing tools as required
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines
- Report defects, hazards, or equipment malfunctions promptly
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder or in a similar role
- Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Physical stamina and ability to work in demanding environments
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Certification in welding (preferred but not always required)
