Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Scan items and process customer transactions accurately.
- Handles cash, credit/debit card payments, and digital payment systems,
- Ensure proper change is given to the customer
- Bag items and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organised checkout area
- Assist with restocking shelves when needed
- Reporting any discrepancies or issues to the manager
Requirements:
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Customer satisfaction-oriented
- Work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role in sales
- Basic PC knowledge
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, like a cash register and POS
- Good math skills
