Automobile Service Advisor

We are looking to hire an efficient Automobile Service Advisor that will be responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for customers who require automotive services. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide guidance on services and repairs, and ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner.

- Consult with mechanics regarding necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive repairs.
- Provide in-depth information about available parts and service options to customers using your knowledge of our products and services.
- Answer questions about service outcomes, schedule and book appointments, vehicle drop-off, and vehicle pick-up.
- Provide customers with information and advice on warranty protections, potential cost savings, and the advantages of trading in versus fixing their car.
- Manage and oversee the dealership’s workflow and schedule.
- Maintain positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records of all customer interactions, services provided, and repairs performed
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers who require automotive services.
- Greet customers and initiate service requests, including obtaining all necessary information regarding the customer and their vehicle.
- Create and maintain accurate service records, including estimates, invoices, and work orders.
- Coordinate with the service department to ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and provide updates on any necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Address customer concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all automotive services and repairs, including industry trends and developments.
- Minimum academic qualification of Diploma in a related discipline.
- Proven work experience as a Service Advisor or similar role.
- Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Service Advisor.
- Strong knowledge of automotive services and repairs, including industry trends and developments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly and effectively address customer concerns and complaints.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- An in-depth understanding of the industry's rules, guidelines, and regulations.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
Remuneration:NGN 70,000per month
