Assistant Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering effective learning experiences for Year 2 and Year 3 pupils.
• Provide classroom support during lessons, activities, transitions and routines.
• Assist with differentiated instruction so that pupils with different learning needs can participate effectively.
• Support the preparation of classroom resources and learning activities.
• Observe pupil engagement and progress and communicate relevant observations to the class teacher.
• Help maintain a positive, organized and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

• A minimum of NCE/BEd in Education or a related field
• A minimum of 1 year of experience
• Classroom support, differentiated instruction, British Primary curriculum familiarity
