Pinconsult Associates Limited Located in the heart of Lagos Island, Lagos, is a civil/structural engineering consultancy firm that specializes in structural engineering consultancy, and project management services. We also carry out structural assessments of buildings. A skilled team of engineers and administrative teams, with detailers, means we function as a full-service consultancy company. We are recruiting to fill this position.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the company's financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
Requirements:
- BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
- Work experience as an Accountant (4 years and above)
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like Peachtree
- Advanced MS Excel skills including V-lookups and pivot tables
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Additional certification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, or CMA) is a plus
