Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will handle routine servicing, diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure optimal performance of cooling units across residential, commercial, and industrial environments. The AC technician will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. The role involves diagnosing faults, performing routine maintenance, recharging refrigerants, repairing electrical and mechanical components, and ensuring all cooling systems operate efficiently and safely.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Install split units, window units, package units, chillers, VRF/VRV systems, and industrial AC equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning of filters, coils, blowers, and drain lines.
- Inspect and test refrigeration systems, compressors, motors, electrical components, and control panels.
- Diagnose and repair faults such as gas leaks, compressor failure, electrical issues, and poor cooling.
- Recharge refrigerants (R22, R410A, R32, etc.) and handle gas recovery safely.
- Ensure proper airflow balancing and thermostat calibration.
- Replace faulty components such as capacitors, fan motors, thermostats, transformers, etc.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance logs, and job completion forms.
- Provide recommendations and technical support to customers on proper usage and preventive maintenance.
- Comply with safety procedures and company policies while working on all equipment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND / Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or related field.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience as an AC Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles and AC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Good understanding of electrical troubleshooting.
- Skilled in brazing, welding, and piping connections.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physically fit and able to work at heights or confined spaces when required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Certification in HVAC/Refrigeration (optional but an added advantage).

Employment Type: Full Time / Contract
Remuneration: NGN 70,000 - 150,000 (negotiable)
