Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Creating original fabric patterns
- Design concepts that reflect the company’s brand identity. The selected designs will be used for textile production with our international manufacturing partners in China.
Requirements:
- Must be passionate about fashion, fabrics, and creativity
- Be able to translate artistic ideas into tangible textile designs that appeal to our customers and market trends.
- Strong creative and artistic skills. Proficiency in CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or other textile design software.
- Excellent understanding of colour theory, fabric textures and print techniques.
- Ability to translate design ideas into digital formats ready for production.
- Strong visual imagination and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of fashion trends and textile design principles.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving and adaptability in design revisions.
- Basic understanding of fabric production processes and material types (an added advantage).
