Special Education Needs (SEN) Learning Support-SEN Shadow

Responsibilities:

• Acting as a guide over an assigned child, helping to make the child learn gradually (through reinforcements).
• Conduct regular pull-out sessions at repeated intervals in the course of the day and bring the child back to the classroom after each pull out session.
• Assist in training the child in the use of the restroom as the occasion demands.
• Apply visual aids in the learning process with the child.
• Lead the child to the Therapist for therapy sessions. 

Requirements:

• The job requires someone with the knowledge and experience in handling children with learning disabilities such as ADHD or dyslexia. The cases may be mild or hyperactive.
• The right candidate must therefore be patient and exercise restraint when dealing with children. 
• The SEN learning Support resumes like every other staff and closes at the end of the day just other academic staff.

Remuneration: NGN 120,000 - 140,000 monthly depending on the knowledge, skills and experience.
