Creche Attendant

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of infants and toddlers at all times
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities such as play, storytelling, and music
• Prepare and serve snacks and meals in line with dietary requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized creche environment, including regular cleaning and disinfecting of toys and equipment
• Observe and monitor children’s developmental progress and report concerns to supervisors
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and collaborate with other staff members

Requirements:

• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent (Higher National Diploma preferred)
• Additional certification in Early Childhood Education is an advantage
• At least 1 year of experience in teaching or childcare (preferred)
• Strong understanding of child development and infant/toddler care practices
• Good communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Physically able to work indoors for long periods and assist with lifting/moving equipment when needed
• Must be able to commute to or relocate to Lagos (preferred)
