Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across core subjects (Literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies) aligned with state/ national standards.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs.
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and adapting instruction accordingly.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, specialists, and parents.
- Foster students' social-emotional development and positive classroom behavior.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and social events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary/ Primary Education or related field.
- Valid state teaching certificate/license for primary grades.
- Prior experience teaching in a primary classroom (including student teaching)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to differentiated instruction and child- centered learning.
Remuneration: NGN 80,000-100,000
