Montessori Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons using Montessori principles and materials.
• Foster the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of pupils.
• Create and maintain a prepared classroom environment that encourages independent learning.
• Observe, assess, and document children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and school management.
• Promote positive behaviour and ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support each child's development.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programmes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Montessori certification or formal Montessori training is an added advantage.
• 2–3 years of teaching experience in a Montessori school.
• Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and classroom practices.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A patient, creative, and nurturing personality.
• Must reside in or be willing to commute conveniently to Lekki, Lagos.

Remuneration: NGN 230,000 Gross Monthly
