We’re looking for an experienced Geography Tutor to teach Secondary/high school students following the British and US curriculum systems. This role is 100% online, so you must be comfortable teaching virtually and engaging students remotely with maps, case studies, and data analysis.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Teach Geography to secondary/high school students using British curriculum [IGCSE, A-Level, GCSE] and US curriculum [AP Human Geography, AP Environmental Science, US high school standards]
- Plan and deliver engaging online lessons with clear learning outcomes, map work, fieldwork skills, and case study analysis
- Prepare students for different exam bodies: AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Cambridge for Geography + AP Human Geography & AP Environmental Science in the US system
- Teach key skills: map interpretation, graph/data analysis, essay writing, and fieldwork evaluation in a virtual classroom
- Assess student progress, provide detailed feedback, and track performance for coursework/exams
- Use online tools, GIS, Google Earth, and other resources to create interactive, student-centered learning experiences
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Geography - mandatory
- Proven online teaching experience using Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Moodle, etc. Must be comfortable with all online teaching tools and resources for map/data-based subjects
- Strong knowledge of the British school system and UK exam bodies: AQA, Edexcel, OCR,
- Cambridge Geography specifications. Familiar with both Physical and Human Geography components
- Working knowledge of the US curriculum - AP Human Geography, AP Environmental Science, or US high school Geography standards
- Degree in Geography, Environmental Science, or related field. Master’s is an advantage
- Excellent communication + data visualization skills for teaching maps, charts, and statistics online
- Ability to break down complex case studies and fieldwork concepts for remote learners
- Reliable internet, laptop, webcam, and quiet teaching environment
