Elementary Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a structured learning environment.
• Present lessons across core subject areas (English, Mathematics, Cultural Studies, Science, etc.).
• Develop individualised learning plans based on observation and assessment.
• Guide pupils toward independence, critical thinking, and responsibility.
• Maintain accurate academic records and progress reports.
• Manage classroom behaviour using positive discipline strategies.
• Prepare pupils for internal and external assessments where required.
• Communicate effectively with parents through meetings and written reports.
• Collaborate with fellow educators.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events.

Requirements:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree (B.Ed./B.Sc Mathematics/Education Mathematics, or B.A/B.Ed English or related field).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an elementary classroom.
• Strong classroom leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Broad subject knowledge.
• Adaptability to mixed-ability learners.
