Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with client objectives
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging platforms
  • Write compelling copy that drives engagement, clicks, and conversions
  • Experience in running social media ads and knowledge of digital performance metrics (CTR, engagement rate, conversions, etc.).
  • Manage day-to-day social media activities including posting, monitoring, and community engagement
  • Respond promptly to comments, messages, and mentions while maintaining brand voice
  • Build and nurture online communities through authentic engagement and conversation
  • Monitor social media trends, hashtags, and viral content opportunities
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns/ads including contests, giveaways, and influencer collaborations
  • Collaborate with graphic designers to create visually appealing content
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media metrics and campaign performance
  • Conduct competitor analysis and social listening to identify opportunities
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns and optimize for engagement and conversions
  • Stay updated on platform algorithm changes and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Handle social media crisis management and negative feedback professionally


Requirements:

  • 2 - 3 years of hands-on experience managing social media accounts for brands or agencies
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
  • Proven track record of growing social media followings and driving engagement
  • Deep understanding of all major social media platforms and their unique best practices
  • Ability to create short-form videos or Reels using mobile editing tools
  • Excellent writing skills with ability to adapt tone for different brands and platforms
  • Creative mindset with ability to generate fresh content ideas consistently
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics and data-driven optimization
  • Experience with social media advertising and boosted content
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


Technical Skills:

  • Social Media Management: Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite
  • Content Creation: Canva, CapCut, InShot  
  • Analytics Tools: Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics, Twitter Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics
  • Scheduling & Planning: ContentCal
  • Monitoring Tools: Brand24, Mention, Google Alerts
  • Advertising Platforms: Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Collaboration Tools: Slack, Trello, Asana, Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with hashtag research and trend monitoring tools
  • Basic understanding of graphic design principles


Proven Experience In:

  • Growing social media accounts from scratch or significantly increasing existing followers
  • Creating viral or high-engagement content that drove measurable results
  • Managing social media crisis situations and negative feedback
  • Running successful social media campaigns (contests, launches, awareness campaigns)
  • Implementing influencer partnership strategies
  • Using social listening to inform content strategy
  • Managing paid social media campaigns with proven ROI
  • Building active, engaged online communities

  • Can identify trending sounds, memes, and viral formats before they peak
  • Have a natural sense of humor and understand internet culture
  • Think in captions and hashtags
  • Are energized by community interaction and building relationships online
  • Can switch seamlessly between professional LinkedIn content and playful TikTok videos
  • Stay calm under pressure when handling negative comments or PR situations
  • Are constantly learning about new platform features and testing them immediately
