Content Marketing Manager

Responsibilities:

• Brand & messaging: Partner with our content team and social media manager to create compelling content that promotes our product identity and resonates with young people.
• Stakeholder force multiplier: Work with multiple teams to consolidate, distill, and elevate their ideas into creative content for blogs and social media
• Act as a force multiplier for other contributors' expertise. 
• Be a key member for organizing ideas, identifying patterns and connections from disparate inputs to create content people love and want to share.
• Having a global view is key

Requirements:

• Experience: 3+ years of journalism, blogging, and social media writing with a proven track record of successfully executing content and social media writing.
• Branding expertise: Deep understanding of branding principles and experience so that you can apply it in your content creation.
• Creative thinking: Ability to think outside the box and develop innovative content campaigns that capture attention and drive engagement.
• Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Practical experience with tools like WordPress, Medium, and Reddit.
• Portfolio showcasing successful content marketing work.
• Must be comfortable moving between planning with the team and getting your hands dirty implementing.
• Obsessed with building brands that people actually love. 
• Enjoy bringing your creativity to work and having the freedom to express it.
• Craft a compelling story, nail a product's unique identity that's anything but cookie-cutter.
• Experience with viral marketing techniques, including content creation on Reddit, LinkedIn, or similar platforms.
• Comfortable with unconventional approaches to product/content marketing. E.g. tell us something about your Reddit adventures!
