Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Agile Facilitation: Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospectives.
- Team Empowerment: Encourage self-organization within the Agile team and foster a collaborative and motivated work environment.
- Scrum Implementation: Guide the team in implementing Scrum practices and principles, ensuring adherence to the Scrum framework.
- Impediment Removal: Identify and remove impediments and obstacles that hinder the team's progress and productivity.
- Agile Coaching: Provide coaching and mentoring to team members and stakeholders on Agile practices and values.
- Communication: Foster effective communication within the team and between the team and external stakeholders.
- Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and report on Agile metrics and KPIs to assess team and project performance.
- Conflict Resolution: Act as a mediator in case of conflicts and help the team resolve.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve Agile processes and practices based on inspection and adaptation.
- Risk Management: Identify and address risks and issues that may impact the project's success.
- Documentation: Maintain Agile artifacts such as the product backlog, sprint backlog, and other project-related documentation.
- Scrum Master Collaboration: Collaborate with other Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth execution of projects in larger organizations.
Requirements:
- Agile Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- Scrum Framework: Proficiency in the Scrum framework, roles, events, and artifacts.
- Agile Tools: Familiarity with Agile project management tools like Jira or Trello.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and coaching skills to guide and empower Agile teams.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to facilitate team discussions, stand-up meetings, and sprint planning.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address impediments and bottlenecks that hinder the team's progress.
- Conflict Resolution: Effective conflict resolution skills to mitigate issues and promote a positive team environment.
