Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and effectively communicate product offerings, functionality, positioning, and competitive advantage
  • Manage and grow existing customer base by understanding and anticipating customer needs
  • Participate in meetings, training sessions, tradeshows, conferences, webinars, and professional development opportunities
  • Maintain awareness of pertinent customer information, future plans, and payment performance, and communicate any information that would affect company decisions
  • Market products to prospective buyers
  • Continuously source for new accounts and customers
  • Manage relationships with existing customers
  • Ensure customers’ satisfaction and continued patronage through a series of follow-ups and customer engagement
  • Gather information on competitors, suggesting strategies for to attain a sustainable competitive advantage
  • Monitor market trends and product performance.
  • Ability to drive a car.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from any reputable university
  • Professional certification in sales and marketing will be preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar role
  • Basic understanding of the fumigation sector, including players and key trends in the area.
  • Well-honed skills to persuade, influence and negotiate and also to manage and sustain effective, successful relationships both internally and externally
  • Good communication, business presentation, persuasion, negotiation, documentation, and analytical skills.


Key Performance Indicators

  • Achievement of assigned sales targets
  • Increase in sales to key customers in comparison to sales from the previous period (a minimum of +25%)
  • Percentage of new customer accounts (new customer acquisition target of 5 new customers per month per salesperson)
  • Accuracy and timeliness of daily sales reports
  • 80% customer retention rate
  • Effective management and follow-up with customers.
