Technical Sales Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Establishing the technical needs of the customer and suggesting appropriate products.
• Explaining complex technical information to customers in a way that is easily understandable.
• Following up with customers and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Keeping customers informed about new technological products.
• Compiling proposals and reports related to technical products.
• Ensuring that sales targets are consistently met.
• Reporting to management about sales made.
• Updating records of customer communications and contact information.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical 
• Engineering, or related fields. 
• 5 years experience selling of fluid purification chemicals.
• Industry Experience: Demonstrated experience in technical sales within the chemical industry or similar sectors, with a specific focus on the Nigerian market. 
• Customer Relationship: Adept at developing and maintaining strong customer relationships. 
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to identify market trends and business opportunities. 
• Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, crucial for engaging with clients and stakeholders effectively. 
• Travel: Willingness to travel across Nigeria as required by the role. 
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Yoruba and Igbo languages would be an added advantage, facilitating deeper connections with a diverse client base.

Remuneration: NGN 400,000 gross salary + transportation allowance + incentives
