Retail Research Specialist

Responsibilities:

Research & Discovery 

• Conduct deep research into marketplace trends, consumer behaviour, and category dynamics to identify viable product opportunities. 
• Review top-performing and poorly rated products to uncover gaps and opportunities for differentiation. 

Supplier Sourcing & Communication 

• Source, vet, and manage supplier relationships, ensuring timelines, quality, and cost align with our goals. 

Product Differentiation & Strategy 

• Collaborate with the team to define each product’s unique positioning and competitive edge. 

Launch Strategy & Execution 

• Work with creatives to develop high-converting listing assets (titles, bullets, A+ content, visuals, etc.). 

Social Media Support 

• Contribute to content planning and strategy to strengthen brand visibility and engagement. 

Performance Monitoring & Reporting 

• Monitor product performance using tools and data, and identify ways to optimize sales, positioning, and visibility. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in any relevant field
• 2+ years of experience in product management, e-commerce, brand development, or a similar role
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills you love digging into data and connecting the dots
• A solid communicator, clear, proactive, and reliable
• Organized and resourceful; thrives in fast-paced environments 
• Detail-oriented, but not at the expense of speed you know when to act
• A growth mindset with a natural curiosity and willingness to learn
• Experience with Amazon FBA is a big plus, but not mandatory
