Retail Designer

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented designer with strong visual storytelling ability. The successful candidate will demonstrate creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software, and a professional approach to managing time, costs, and deadlines. The role is responsible for communicating ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers across multiple platforms.

Main Areas of Responsibility

• Create compelling Key Visuals (KVs) for campaigns across retail, digital, and in-store environments
• Video editing and motion design for digital, social media, and retail screens
• Use industry software such as SketchUp, V-Ray, InDesign, Illustrator, AutoCAD, and relevant video/motion tools to produce high-quality visual designs
• Provide Retail Operations support, including shop design and in-store executions
• Understand and interpret client briefs accurately and creatively
• Attend client meetings to discuss expectations and desired design outcomes
• Present draft designs and concepts to clients and internal stakeholders for feedback
• Collaborate closely with creative team members, including copywriters, motion designers, and social media specialists
• Ensure design work is aligned with overall brand guidelines and communication strategies
• Design across a range of deliverables, including:
• Social media content
• Video and motion assets
• Packaging design
• Full-scale branding and retail design projects
• Solve client communication challenges through effective visual design solutions
• Demonstrate an understanding of the commercial value of graphic and retail design
• Prepare rough drafts and concepts based on requirements
• Review and finalise layouts before production
• Liaise with external suppliers and printers to ensure quality and deadlines are met

Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in advertising, graphic design, interior design and/or shop design
• Strong experience in retail-focused design environments
• Proven experience in KV development, motion, and video editing
• Must have a strong, relevant portfolio demonstrating the above

Qualification

•Bachelor’s degree in graphic design and/or Interior Design
