Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Remove duplicate records from literature search results.
  • Screen titles and abstracts using predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria via the Rayyan software.
  • Perform full-text screening of selected studies.
  • Register systematic reviews on PROSPERO.
  • Conduct accurate and high-quality data extraction from eligible studies.
  • Assist with data synthesis and preparation of systematic review findings.
  • Support manuscript writing and formatting according to the target journal guidelines.
  • Assist with formatting and preparation of additional research articles for submission.
  • Manage references using reference management software (e.g., EndNote, Zotero, Mendeley).
  • Maintain accurate documentation of review processes following PRISMA guidelines.
  • Ensure high standards of accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality.


Requirements:

Essential:

  • Demonstrated experience with systematic review methodology.
  • Familiarity with PRISMA guidelines and evidence synthesis processes.
  • Experience using Rayyan for article screening.Experience registering reviews on PROSPERO.
  • Strong academic writing and editing skills.
  • Experience with literature databases (e.g., PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science).
  • Experience with reference management software (EndNote, Zotero, or Mendeley).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow predefined protocols and inclusion/exclusion criteria.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Relevant academic background (e.g., health sciences, medicine, public health, life sciences, or related field).


Desirable (Preferred):

  • Experience with data synthesis or meta-analysis.
  • Experience with critical appraisal tools.
  • Previous experience supporting journal submissions.
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant health or research field.
