Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Managing all the personnel, contractors, vendors, etc., of the organization.
- Supervise, collaborate, and work effectively and efficiently with the employees.
- Supervise and maintain project timelines to ensure tasks/projects are completed efficiently and on time.
- Delegate responsibilities to the best employee to perform them while enforcing all policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines of the organization.
- Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of those involved.
- Report directly to Mercy Management NigeriaTeam
- Communicate and report on the activities of the organization to the President and the Board of Directors in a timely and accurate manner.
- Responsible for the fiscal integrity of the organization, including submission of monthly financial statements that accurately reflect the condition of the organization.
- Take responsibility for prudent management of the organization’s resources for maximum output.
- Develop an understanding of compliance with government regulations regarding the operations of a non-profit.
- Responsible for the enhancement of the organization’s image by being active and visible in the community.
- Responsible for constant engagement with the host community and other surrounding communities to ensure peaceful co-existence.
- Serves as the organization’s spokesperson whenever necessary.
- Responsible for leading the organization in a manner that supports and guides the objectives of the Mission.
- Perform all other duties as may be assigned by the President/Vice President, The Management Team, and\or the Board of Directors.
Requirements:
- The preferred candidate must be a degree holder from a reputable university or an HND holder from a recognized Polytechnic.
- Previous work experience in a managerial function will also be an added advantage.
- Must be a Christian with genuine salvation experience.
- Must be transparent and possess a high level of integrity.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong decision-making capabilities.
- Above-average communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain financial records.
- Ability to motivate and lead people, and hold employees accountable.
- Good knowledge of the dynamics of a non-profit organization.
