Job Summary
Smart accountant with good knowledge of EXCEL and accounting software to work as GL supervisor on a major project

Job Description/Requirements
- Preparation of budget and implementation
- Preparation of monthly management accounts (Profit or Loss Accounts and Balance Sheet),
- Processing and filing VAT returns to FIRS in compliance the law,
- Processing and remitting WHT to the relevant Tax authority and follow up clients receipts, Supervise the annual routine tax audit by FIRS and LIRS and also responsible to supply answers to tax queries including providing relevant supporting documents,
- Processing of Account payables and receivable and reconciliation
- Payroll administration and PAYE remittances to LIRS
- Carryout monthly Bank reconciliations
- Work with the Company External Auditors to ensure that the whole system of accounting and internal controls is working efficiently and effectively at all time
- Coordinate monthly and yearly end closing activities and provide support to external auditors
