Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Utilizing commercial steam irons, presses, and related equipment to remove wrinkles from various garments.
- Using machinery to properly shape and mold items like suits, dresses, and shirts according to quality standards.
- Identifying different types of fabrics and materials to determine the appropriate temperature and pressing methods to prevent damage.
- Inspecting finished garments for remaining wrinkles, damage, or stains before passing them to the next station.
- Meeting daily or hourly production quotas in a fast-paced environment.
- Operating and maintaining machinery securely, including monitoring steam levels and cleaning machines.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of N.C.E.
- 3 years of previous experience in a similar role.
